যা হয়েছে অনেকদিনই আগে
সমাজ গড়ায় ভুল হয়েছে জানি;
একপেশে যে নিয়ম অনেক আছে
অস্বীকার তা করব না তো আমি।

ক্ষোভ যে হবে আজকের এই দিনে
চোখ বুজে তা ধরেই নিতে হবে;
ধীরে ধীরে একপেশে সব নিয়ম
হয়ত আবার পাল্টে ঠিকই যাবে।

এ জগৎ এর মূলে দুটি প্রাণী
একজন নর আর একজন নারী;
পরস্পরের পরিপূরক দুজন
এককথা কি কেউ ভুলতে পারি?

অনেক পুরুষ অত্যাচারও করে
অসত্য নয় একথাটা যেমন;
বিপদ হলে লাভ ক্ষতি না ভেবে
অনেক পুরুষ ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়ে তখন।

নারী যেমন জন্মদাত্রী ঠিকই
কোনও অংশে পুরুষও নয় ছোটো;
নারী পুরুষ আর কিছু নয় জেনো
একটা গাছের ফুল আর ফল দুটো।

মন্দ ভালো সব কিছুরই থাকে
মানিয়ে নিয়ে চলাটাই তো জীবন
আজ নয় কাল সমান সমান হয়ে
নারী পুরুষ করবে জীবন যাপন।

Men’s Day

Such rules were created a long time ago
There has been mistakes in raising the society ;
Many rules are subject to partiality-
I won’t disagree with the fact.

Anger may be common today
Men have to accept with closed their eyes;
Maybe, one day things will change
Slowly, gradually but one day for sure.

All the root of the world are two creatures
One is man and the other – woman
The are made for each other
Can we ever forget this?

Many men torture too
This is not untrue;
But when women’s jeopardized
Many men selflessly jump to aid.

Women are life-granters truly
But men are not less in any ways;
Men and women are nothing but
Flowers and fruits of the same tree.

Everything in this universe has positives and negative
Adjustment is the only key to life
If not today, then one day for sure
Men and women will be regarded equally
We”ll walk together in the streets of life.
